Life in the slow lane

We are slowly getting our ducks in a row in order to fully retire and then travel at will! We sold the home we have lived in for over 32 years.......step one for retirement

Paul will be getting his first social security check beginning in February!
Step two toward retirement!

Currently we are in the slow lane of Franklin, Tennessee life, visiting Karyn & Andy.
We had a real treat, last night, dining at Dotson's Restaurant.....One of those hole- in-the-wall places with a neon sign saying "Y'all come in"! It was truly what you would consider to be a down home, southern style cafe! Definitely not a 5-star by CA standards, but we really liked the ambiance, food, and the friendly owner! We could fit in real easily!
