Malta

A wonderful mission opportunity came up through our church, and I will be going to Malta at the end of this month. Our team has four women and two men.
On the morning of January 28, I will be leaving for Malta via Chicago and London.
Although our exact itinerary while there has not been shared with us, I know that we will be doing some distribution of literature, ladies and children ministry, possibly painting (okay, now I will be comfortable since our mission trips have always been physical labor supporting the missionary) and prayerwalking. Now, I have not heard of prayerwalking before, but I feel as a Christian, we need to be continually praying, and thus it is a lifestyle of praying as opposed to a singular activity. I have done it without having a name for it....have you ever noticed someone while out and about that looks like they need prayer, and started praying for them? What about when a new neighbor moves in and is not overly friendly, but you feel the need to pray for them; and maybe, one day, the Lord will open the door for you to talk to them. In the context that we will be in, there is a village our church has adopted to pray for and this will be the first outreach to them. In addition to praying as we distribute literature and visit the community, we will be able to bring back our burdens as we see them and continue to pray for them as the word is being sown there.
On the way back, we will be spending a weekend in London, arriving home on February 8. Please pray for safety as we travel, and that we will be used to the fullest! I do not plan to take the computer, so pictures and stories will have to be shared after the 8th!

I know God will use you to the fullest! I can't wait to hear all about it!
I love when I see someone that the Holy Spirit prompts me to pray for, I feel like I am being used by God on a daily basis when that happens!
