Off the beaten path

Well, some days just cannot be planned. First we traveled 30 miles to see the Angola State Prison Museum. When we got there it was closed, due we were informed, to prevent further spread of the Swine Flu. Okay, we would not be in contact with the prisoners, so the 3500 in the maximum security prison and all of the support personnel would not be affected and the flu would not cause an epidemic there, so who are they protecting. The lone curator? Who knows. Should I be worried that we are going to TX next week? The GPS was not cooperating, so after turning onto a road the map said went through, and finding ourselves lost, (Okay, not so unusual, we always eventually end up where we started!) I decided, this day was not to go as planned. But if it had, we may not have seen any of this!
Tunica Trace in the Tunica Wildlife Mgmt with dirt road, high sides.

Risky bridge, good thing we were not in the RV!

Country Lane (picture just does not do this justice)

The Doors

So tomorrow, if we can plan the day, we are headed for Baton Rouge.
