Being flexible; College Station: George Bush Museum

Before getting started, I need to sidetrack just a little. Having this hitchhiker cat is a cross between having a newborn who wakes you up every couple of hours crying, and having a teenager you are anticipating arriving home! Last night it was midnight before our hitchhiker decided to join us once again, meowing about whatever. ( I think the cat is looking for all of his buddies). So this morning, we heard it and decided to start the RV for a little while and see if it would come out. After turning the RV off, the cat did come out and streaked across to the bushes. It is a small cat, but ears are enormous in proportion to its body. (Definitely not pregnant though, whew!) But it came back early tonight, already settled in under us!

So now to our day yesterday. We started out going to tour a cheese factory, but thought to call, and were informed the tours have been suspended for a couple of months; next was a museum that, after reading "open daily", after the hours were listed it said except Mondays! So we drove the opposite direction than planned and ended in College Station, home of Texas A & M University and George Bush Museum. Quite interesting and well done. It took you from their childhoods to present day.

Sculpture of horses breaking down the Berlin Wall

Included Bush owned Studebaker

Dress worn by Barbara Bush at a State dinner

Replica of Camp David Office

They also had a replica of the Oval Office, but no private pictures were allowed to be taken, since they take your picture sitting at the desk, to sell you. (I guess I could have had mine taken and claimed to be the first female president!)

Wow!!! I have not been on the blog for a week and you have seen half of the USA. Spend another week and you can come back home and play. Hailey got a new trike and needs someone else to push her around the neighborhood. PS, Tommy at church missed you.

I can't believe the cat is still hangin' around!
I loved your analogy of the cat being like both a newborn and teenager!
